Where do I start? That is the question I have been toiling with for the past hour since I first opened this blog. And why not? Getting started is the hardest part. Whether it has been for writing an article, a thesis, or making a blog post, I always struggle to get the ball rolling. Once I have set the tone, the words tend to flow much more easily. That being said, I feel that the best way to get this thing started would be to take a look at the day in sports and society. MANHATTAN IS GOING LINSANE The emergence of Jeremy Lin has really been quite fascinating. Never have I seen a player rise to the level of folk hero so fast. In his last three games, Lin has averaged 25.3 points, and 8.3 assists. New Yorkers have certainly taken notice too, with new nicknames and catch phrases being invented daily, if not hourly.
