 I am not making the case that Tayshaun Prince in not a great player, nor that he does not have any value. He is an excellent offensive threat, and he plays very good defense on the wing. However, the Pistons are a team in a need of a rebuild and since they missed the boat on trading his expiring contract this past off-season, I do not see why they would want to bring him back now. I read about this in a story in the Detroit Free Press, were apparently Pistons President Joe Dumars contacted Prince's agent to talk about a new deal. For me it makes little sense. This team is stocked full of forwards, and we could make the case the Pistons need to get out of the deal with Charlie Villanueva more than worrying about Prince. Sine they have Greg Monroe on the roster and he seems to fit best at the Power Forward spot, and an overload of forwards like Austin Daye, Jonas Jerebko, Charlie V (who is owed a lot of money over the nest two years), the recently drafted Kyle Singler, among ...
