When Ray Allen left the Boston Celtics to join the Miami Heat in free agency many wonder why? Well it appears Allen did not get along on the best of terms with Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo and management. There is no question when he is on his game Rondo is one of the best point guards in the NBA. He is so quick and athletic and has great court vision and pass ability but problem his he has a temper and can be hard to get along with. Rondo was suspended twice this season because of anger issues. Rondo’s most rocky relationship on the team was with shooting guard Ray Allen. According to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated the main reason Allen left Boston was because of Rondo. Allen conceivably could return to Boston, but Mannix said that decision might be affected by Allen’s apparent struggles to get along with Rajon Rondo. “I think there’s no question that the relationship was strained over this year,” Mannix said. “How strained is the key, and it’s still a little bi...

Ok, Now This Is Awkward

Since learning that the Celtics will open in Miami this season, I've been thinking about how awkward this will be for Ray Allen. Picture the Heat players all lined up and each one going up for his ring. And there is Ray. He was on the team that Miami had to beat to get to the Finals. His team certainly had reason to believe that the officiating had something to do with their...

Celtics to Open 2012-13 Season at Heat

According to the Sun Sentinel, the Celtics will open the 2012-13 season on the road vs the hated Heat. Won't that be fun for the Celtics to watch the Heat raise the banner and get their rings? I'm not sure what could possibly be a better motivation for the new look/old look Celtics than that.   Watching the Heat players get their rings should light a fire under the Celtics...
