The 2013 NBA Draft is right around the corner and smart owners know that building through the draft is the most efficient way of assembling a winning roster in the NBA. NBA teams can select players based on their roster needs and gain young talent for a lot less money than veterans.
Look at the San Antonio Spurs, they’ve won 4 championships and are currently fighting for their 5th, even though this is a team that was built through the NBA draft and cheap veteran signings. The Oklahoma City Thunder also got to NBA finals last year by building their team through the draft. The most important thing about the draft is getting maximum value for your selection, which is where the 2013 draft comes into play.
