ORLANDO, Fla. J.J. Redick and Jameer Nelson have been down this road before.
So far, its a road that has never led them out of Orlando. In terms of continuous service with the Magic, they are the undisputed leaders on the current roster, as well as two of the few remaining ties to the 2009 Eastern Conference champions.
But with the Magics six-year playoff run coming to an end, teams that have postseason and title aspirations are making inquiries about the availability of both guards to general manager Rob Hennigan. At least a dozen teams are said to have expressed an interest in Redick, who is in the last year of a contract that pays him 6.2 million this season.
By the time the NBAs trading deadline rolls around Thursday, Redick and Nelson could be gone as the Magic continue a youth movement centered on stockpiling draft picks. Or the rumors might just end up being so much hot air.
We both know that if its gonna happen, its gonna happen, Nelson said before the All-Star break. B...

The Magic are back from their break and preparing to take on the Bobcats as the beginning of their push to the end of the season. The Playoffs are getting further out of reach and the team has been limping for a few months now. It is frustrating to watch for sure.
There is still work the Magic can do and still work the Magic must do in the final months of the season. Remember...
According to Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld.com, the Knicks and Magic are discussing a deal that would send Iman Shumpert to the Magic for J.J. Redick.
There is no offer on the table, and Kennedy believes there may have to be a third team involved.

We are actually a little bit past the halfway point of the season, but the All-Star Break is as good a demarcating line as any to split the season into two halves.
The season so far has gone as expected to some degrees but is still a frustrating exercise with the team mired in a tough losing stretch -- two 10-game losing streaks and the current stretch of losing 24 out of the...

The Knicks love their 3-point shooting — and, if this trade goes through, they could be getting a lot more of it.
New York is in talks for a trade that would bring J.J. Redick, one of the game’s best shooters, to the Knicks in exchange for Iman Shumpert, according to Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld. Kennedy reports that a straight-up trade is unlikely, with other players and possibly...
It is something that can be tough to do in the midst of a losing season. It is something that can be tough coming back from the All-Star Break. One team is going to have the energy and rhythm to play and the other team has to find it.
Orlando and Charlotte have every reason to kind of fold in the face of adversity. When they both saw it in Tuesday's game at Amway...
The Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks have put in their bids of Orlando shaprshooter J.J. Redick.
The Bucks are offering forward Luc Mbah a Moute and a first-round pick, according to CBS Sports' Ken Berger. But making a move for Redick is apparently contingent on first dealing Monta Ellis in a "bigger deal" (see Smith, Josh).
The Knicks are willing to part with...
The Bucks would only trade for J.J. Redick if they can find a deal involving Monta Ellis.
The three teams most likely to make major moves before the trade deadline are the Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns.
Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports that those are the three teams to watch as Thursday's NBA trade deadline approaches. This isn't a surprise. The Hawks are looking to move star forward Josh Smith. The Bucks are willing to trade...
