Willie Green of the Philadelphia 76ers will join NBA and WNBA players in Africa this summer. This is the first time this many NBA and WNBA players are involved in basketball without borders. Basketball without borders is a global development and community outreach program.
One of the first stops in the tour will be held in Dakar Senegal.
The NBA recruited the top 60 young basketball players from around the league. This basketball camp will provide encouragement to the natives of Dakar and coaching to many of the young basketball players there.
Basketball without Borders will show how basketball can not only impact your life socially, but it can change your way of thinking going forward. Chidren and adults will leave how to have a healthy diet and understand the value of a good education in the process.
Willie Green will join African natives Hasheem Thabeet of the Memphis Grizzlies, Desagana Diop of the Charlotte Bobcats, as well as All-Star center Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic...
