Well that little glimmer of hope for the Toronto  Raptors landing Wilson Chander is gone. From the Denver Post Finally, Wilson Chandler is a Nugget. Again. Chandler has agreed to sign a long-term deal with the Nuggets, his agent told The Denver Post, after missing the season thus far after playing professionally in China. The small forward, who averaged 12.5 points last season for the Nuggets, has been in Denver this past week, working out at Forza gym while his agent, Chris Luchey, and the Nuggets brass, notably Masai Ujiri, hammered out the deal. He would of been a good fit with Toronto’s young crowd of athletes and certainly added some much needed scoring. Oh well. I guess the Raptors will never land someone with the last name Chander. addthis_url = 'http%3A%2F%2Fcuzoogle.com%2F2012%2F03%2F19%2Fwilson-chandler-re-signs-with-nuggets-raptors-miss-out%2F'; addthis_title = 'Wilson+Chandler+re-signs+with+Nuggets+-+Raptors+miss+out'; addthis_pub = '...

Denver Nuggets Re-Sign Wilson Chandler, Release Ronny Turiaf

Ever wondered why the Denver Nuggets traded away Nene? It's for this guy: Wilson Chandler. The Nuggets freed up some cap space to sign the forward to a five-year, $37 million deal. Chandler played overseas in China during the lockout, and had to continue playing there due to the contract negotiations. He played solid, averaging 27 points and twelve rebounds per game. It seemed...

Snakebitten Nuggets lose Gallinari again

The Denver Nuggets have been crushed by injuries this year.  Nene was hurt earlier this year.  Rudy Fernandez missed significant time.  Danilo Gallinari was just getting back into his groove after missing a month.  But just as quickly as it seemed the team may have been starting to jell again, it's falling apart with ANOTHER Gallo injury.  This time, it's a fractured...

Pistons-Nuggets Preview

The signing of Wilson Chandler seems like it couldn't have come at a better time for the Denver Nuggets. With Danilo Gallinari and Andre Miller suffering injuries in their last game, the Nuggets might need Chandler to shoulder more of the offense Wednesday night against the Detroit Pistons. Denver (25-21) re-signed Chandler to a five-year deal worth nearly $37 million Sunday...

Danilo Gallinari Had a Pretty Good Assist Over the Weekend (Video)

With all of the March Madness games over the weekend the best play still came from the NBA.  It was Danilo Gallinari who had what will surely be the assist of the year (if that award exists.)   He barely managed to stay in bounds then threw a behind the back pass directly at Kenneth Faried's chest for the easy lay in.  Video of the pass is below. Like this...

Gallo Throws An UUUUUUUHHHHH UUUUUUHHHH Pass

When I saw this pass Danilo Gallinari threw to Kenneth Fared I yelled UUUUUUUHHHH UUUUHHHHHH. This is even more hood than some of the passes Jay Williams threw (when he thought he was black DAYS).   Well Danilo seems back from his ankle injury after 3 very good games, especially when during the final seconds one his shots put the NUGGETS in OT against the HAWKS. I mean how HOOD...

Heat, Celtics Lead In Pursuit Of Turiaf

Ronny Turiaf is expected to sign with a team by Wednesday.

Comments from the other side - Nuggets 3/17

Another loss but at least they tried in this one.  But it also highlighted the need to get a rebounder.  If only Kenneth Faried had a twin brother that likes green.  Bring back Leon.  At least he boxes out and goes after rebounds.  I think the Celtics have forgotten how to box out.  Where's Cliff Ray when you need him?  Oh yeah, out in Sacramento. :(   Another game where...

Recap: Too little, too late

Kenneth Faried showed everyone why he's called the "Manimal" tonight. Faried had 8 boards in his first 8 minutes, and 11 in the first half. He finished with a game-high 16 boards, and had more offensive rebounds (6) than the entire Celtics' squad's 4. Denver had 17 rebounds alone in the 1st quarter, and destroyed...

C's interested in former Laker and journeyman scrub Ronny Turiaf

#CelticsTalk: You can add recently-waived Ronny Turiaf to the growing list of players that's on the #Celtics radar. — A. Sherrod Blakely (@SherrodbCSN) March 18, 2012 Please no. This former Laker sucked when he was getting clowned in the 2008 finals by the Celtics. Now he's a shell of his limited former self. Plus he's always injured and he has a bad ticker. Let the...
