The New York Knicks don't want to talk about Jeremy Lin anymore.
At their media day Monday, the Knicks tried to keep the focus on the aging team they assembled and believe is a contender, rather than on the breakout star they let get away over the summer.
Team officials had never commented on the decision not to match the offer sheet Lin signed with Houston in July, and it took only two questions Monday before general manager Glen Grunwald and coach Mike Woodson were asked for an explanation.
Woodson said he didn't want to discuss Lin, saying Monday was about ''the team that we fielded this summer and we need to focus in on that.''
Newcomers Raymond Felton and Jason Kidd will replace Lin at point guard.

Iman Shumpert Sports Incredible Flat-Top Afro for New York Knicks (Photo)
Iman Shumpert is the coolest person in the NBA. The New York Knicks guard sported an awesome flat-top afro and tweeted a photo of it on Monday. Pablo Prigioni finally arrives States-side
Pablo Prigioni is an international legend.
He was the engine for the Argentina team that won the bronze medal in 2008, averaging 7.1 points per game and 4.6 assists per game. And he would have been a big contributor to this year's Olympic team if not for an injury suffered just before the London Games. Prigioni was 31 in 2008, and beginning the end of his prime years....

In an article by the Wall Street Journal, New York Knicks small forward Carmelo Anthony has vouched to score less points. There is no doubt that he is an offensive-minded player and can jack up shots without a care. Do the Knicks have a need for Sheed?
Now this is a nice little bit of NBA news on a rainy afternoon. Reports are saying that Rasheed Wallace is coming out of retirement to join the New York Knicks.

However, one moment is so undeniably unforgettable...
