After a game like that, it's really hard to pinpoint who was most responsible in leading the Wizards to victory in the first game of the Flip Saunders era. It's easy to credit at Gilbert Arenas, who had 29 points and 9 assists in his first season opener in two years. Or Andray Blatche, who had 20 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots. But it would be difficult to ignore Brendan Haywood, who scored seven of the Wizards' first 15 points. Or Caron Butler, who had 16 points, eight rebounds and two blocks and held Shawn Marion scoreless in the second and third period. You'd have a hard time leaving out Fabricio Oberto, who scored just five points with three rebounds, but frustrated Dallas all-star forward Dirk Nowitzki and contributed to him missing 15 of his 25 field goal attempts.
