NEW ORLEANS -- If there is truth in advertising, a game pitting the NBA teams with the worst records in their respective conferences lived down to its billing. Jordan Crawford broke open a tie game midway through the fourth quarter with a 3-pointer and driving layup and foul shot to lift the Washington Wizards to their first road win of the season, a 77-70 victory over the New Orleans Hornets on Tuesday night at New Orleans Arena. Crawford scored 12 of his game-high 26 points in the fourth quarter. The Wizards entered the game as the NBA's only winless team on the road, having lost their previous eight road games. The Wizards, the last-place team in the Eastern Conference, raised the worst record in the NBA to 3-15. The Hornets, who fell to 5-15 on the season, got Anthony Davis back in the lineup after the rookie forward had missed the previous 11 games with a stress reaction in his left ankle.
