WASHINGTON -- Jordan Crawford scored 19 points, and Emeka Okafor sank two free throws with 39 seconds left as the Washington Wizards snapped their 12-game, season-opening losing streak, edging the Portland Trail Blazers 84-82 Wednesday night. Washington's skid was a franchise record for the start of a season. The 2009-10 New Jersey Nets hold the NBA mark for the worst start, 18 losses in a row. The Wizards rode a 17-4 second-half run to a 70-59 lead, and Jordan Crawford's jumper pushed the advantage to 79-64 with 8:53 remaining. The Trail Blazers (6-9) led 80-79 with 2:27 left after Nicolas Batum made one of two free throws. Crawford's 3-pointer ended the streak, and LaMarcus Aldridge followed with a game-tying basket. Okafor's two foul shots put Washington ahead 84-82. Turnovers followed on...
