The Washington Wizards will monitor Bradley Beal's injury.  The young shooting guard is listed as day-to-day with an ankle injury, but the club hopes it is not too serious.  Considering the poor state of affairs for the Wizards' team, they can not afford a severe, long-term injury to any of their players.  Especially Beal.According to an Associated Press report, Beal hurt his ankle on Sunday against the Philadelphia 76ers. X-rays on the ankle were negative, but Beal was walking with crutches on Sunday.  The Wizards play again tomorrow, but there has been no indication as to whether Beal can go or not yet.Beal is in his rookie season.  He was drafted out of Florida.  So far this season, Beal is averaging 14.2 points and 2.5 assists per game.  He is also pulling down 3.7 rebounds per game.  Beal looks impressive and combined with John Wall, he could be the future of the Wizards' rebuilding.Follow @hoopsinjurynews!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);;js.src="";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");

John Wall reportedly stares down David Falk after hitting clutch shot (Video)

John Wall played the role of hero in the Washington Wizards’ win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night, nailing a clutch jumper to put his team up three points with 4.4 seconds remaining in the game. The shot forced the Sixers to have to attempt a three-pointer to tie, which they were unable to convert. After hitting the shot, Wall appeared to be giving someone in the stands...

John Wall Reportedly Stares Down David Falk After Game-Winner (VIDEO)

What’s beef? Washington Wizard’s John Wall and the NBA’s super-agent David Falk may be partaking in a juvenile, petty version of beef, which was displayed yesterday. To set the stage, in an interview with The Washington Post last month around Valentine’s day, Michael Jordan’s longtime agent and agent to a numerous of current NBA players, criticized and ripped the Washington...

John Wall hits game winner, stares down David Faulk

If you hadn’t heard, David Falk isn’t exactly a fan of John Wall. In fact, he’s not a big fan of many of the players on the Washington Wizards’ roster. But as a season ticket holder, Falk faithfully shows up to the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. to watch a team that he literally ripped to shreds. Of course, he later apologized for ripping Wall and others to shreds, but...

Wall rallies Wizards over 76ers

John Wall scored the game's final six points after teammate Bradley Beal left the court with an apparent injury, leading the Washington Wizards to a 90-87 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night. Beal went down with a sprained ankle with 2:08 left in the fourth quarter. After being attended to by a trainer, Beal was carried off the court and through the tunnel by two...

John Wall Makes a Layup Look Pretty in Win Over Philadelphia 76ers

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall is talented; that goes without saying. However, it takes a special talent to make the most basic shot in basketball--the layup--look as pretty as he does here. Wall made 7 of 11 shots on the night for 16 points, six of them at the end of the game to give the Wizards a 90-87 win. He'll get his chance to shine even more in the...

Video: John Wall’s 360 layup vs Sixers

Tweet   The Washington Wizards ended a two-game losing streak with a 90-87 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday. In what is becoming a regular occurrence (along with the team winning more lately) John Wall added another entry to his 2012-2013 season highlight reel. Phil Chenier is right. You can’t teach that kind of [...]

Wizards-Timberwolves Preview

Even if rookie Bradley Beal is healthy enough to go, John Wall should have the confidence to take charge for the Washington Wizards. The injury-plagued Minnesota Timberwolves need someone to step up. Washington will try to win a season-best second straight on the road Wednesday night when the Timberwolves look to avoid their seventh consecutive loss. Wall struggled in the first...

In The Scrum With John Wall

I caught up with Washington Wizards Point Guard John Wall following the 90-87 verses the Philadelphia 76ers. After struggling early, Wall came up big in the second half. With about two minutes left and the game on the line, rookie guard Bradley Beal went down with what looked to be a serious injury. It was [...]
