There are a few days left in 2012. The Washington Wizards are still doing horrible and have the league’s worst record at 3-23 as of December 26th. On the other hand, they have been without point guard John Wall for quite some time, but Wall has targeted a January return for the Wizards.
For now, the Wizards have been trying to fill in their void at the point guard position. Just recently, Shelvin Mack made his first start in the NBA. Mack would end up sitting the last half of the 4th quarter and Garrett Temple, who was called up from the D-League, finished at the one spot. A.J. Price, who had been handling a bulk of the point guard duties earlier this month, has been sidelined due to a hand injury.
Hopefully the Wizards can get back on track for the new year before they end up in the lottery again and John Wall forces a trade to a contender. That seems to be the trend these days, right?
