When I try to compare Joakim Noah to current NBA players about the last guy who comes to mind is Mark Madsen. But according to ChicagoSports.com's Sam Smith, a few scouts have drawn that comparison.
Quoting an NBA big man's coach he says, "I see him as a mid- to low first-round pick." Most mock drafts have Noah going higher, even though Noah loves to publicly say that they are completely flawed and uninformed. The scout then went on to compare Noah to Madsen, a reserve forward on the Timberwolves most often remembered for his dancing prowess. Madsen averaged 10.9 points and 7.9 rebounds in his career at Stanford, Noah averaged 12 points and 8.4 rebounds at Florida. "Their skill is energy," the coach said.
