Posted in Kelenna AzubuikeNY Post D’Antoni was nonplussed at Kelenna Azubuike ‘s return to scrimmaging yesterday and Azubuike saying he feels different now because he can push better off his knee. “Good for him,” D’Antoni said. “Watching practice and seeing if he can play, it’s going to be a while. It’s not going to be next week.” Azubuike has a marketable expiring contract and the Knicks could cut him after the trade deadline Feb. 24 to open a roster spot. Last I saw Azubuike, he was having a lot of trouble laterally, and was going through a pretty safe workout. It was then I didn’t think that he’d back for a while. Sounds like it’s still the case.
