R.C. Johnson, who has served as the University of Memphis Director of Athletics for nearly 16 years, announced his retirement at a press conference held in the Anfernee Hardaway Hall of Fame Assembly Room on the U of M campus Monday afternoon. Johnson's retirement is effective June 30, 2012.
