Raptors waive Magloire

Center Jamaal Magloire was waived by the Toronto Raptors, whose roster now stands at 15 four days before the season opener. Magloire is a 12-year veteran who did not play during the preseason. He averaged 1.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 11.0 minutes in 34 games with the Raptors last season. He is the first Canadian-born player to play for the Raptors.
