CLEVELAND The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired forwardcenter Marreese Speights, guard Wayne Ellington, guard Josh Selby and a future first round draft pick from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for forward Jon Leuer, Cavaliers General Manager Chris Grant announced today from Cleveland Clinic Courts. Cavs assign F Leuer to D-League team
The Cleveland Cavaliers sent forward Jon Leuer to Canton of the NBA Development League on Friday. Leuer averaged 3.2 points and 2.0 rebounds in five games this season for the Cavs. Last season, the 6-foot-10 Leuer played in 46 games for Milwaukee and averaged 4.7 points and 2.6 rebounds. The Wisconsin product will join Canton for Saturday's game at Springfield.

The Cleveland Cavaliers claimed forward Jon Leuer off waivers from the Houston Rockets on Friday.
Leuer averaged 4.7 points and 2.6 rebounds in 46 games as a rookie last season for Milwaukee. The 6-foot-10, 228-pound Leuer started 12 games, averaging 7.7 points and 3.3 rebounds. He was traded to Houston last month and was waived by the Rockets on Wednesday.
