Cavs waive forward Kelenna Azubuike
The Cleveland Cavaliers have waived guard Kelenna Azubuike, Cavaliers General Manager Chris Grant announced today from Cleveland Clinic Courts.
Azubuike, acquired in a draft day trade which netted the Cavaliers center Tyler Zeller, appeared in one preseason game, scoring six points and adding three rebounds in 14 minutes.
The Cavaliers roster now stands at 17 players.

Mavericks sign Azubuike
The Dallas Mavericks signed free agent swingman Kelenna Azubuike on Friday.
Azubuike has not played since suffering a torn knee tendon in November 2009 with the Golden State Warriors.
The 28-year-old swingman had his best season in 2008-09, averaging a career-high 14.4 points and 5.0 rebounds for the Warriors.
Azubuike was traded to the New York Knicks in July 2010 but he never played for them.
Mavs sign free agent Kelenna Azubuike
The Mavericks have signed free agent Kelenna Azubuike, who hasn't played since tearing a knee tendon with Golden State two seasons ago.
The announcement Friday came a day after the Mavericks waived center Sean Williams to create a roster spot.
Azubuike spent four seasons with the Warriors and has career averages of 10.6 points and 4.0 rebounds.
