This is understandably impossible for people here in America to wrap their brains around, but Stephon Marbury is a hero in China. Marbury dominated the CBA this season and led the Beijing Ducks to their first ever CBA championship with a 4-1 series win over Guandong. Not only that, but he managed to connect with the people of China through social networks and other forms of media...

Stephon Marbury just led Beijing to its first ever CBA title, so perhaps he doesn't even care that his home in Los Angeles was recently sold at a foreclosure auction.

Stephon Marbury's Beijing team won the Chinese league championship, culminating what's been a long journey for Starbury.

Surprisingly, Stephon Marbury is not only playing well in China, he has managed to capture the hearts of the fans -- or at least one fan, who sports a tattoo of Starbury on his leg.

Stephon Marbury never saw eye to eye with Mike D'Antoni during his time as a Knick, so after news of his resignation reached the point guard in China, he took to Twitter to take part in some schadenfreude.
