According to ESPN, Greg Oden is a huge Will Smith fan, loves CBS's Two and a Half Men, and dreamed of becoming a dentist when he was younger. Geez, if not for the photographic evidence showing that Oden enjoys dancing with hot chicks in extremely short skirts, I'd say he and I have pretty much nothing in common...

Really we have nothing in common im sure you know the song miami or getting jiggy wit it. As much as no one wants to admit it when it came out you did the dance at least once, and if you never been to miami before you surely went after that song. Two and a half men i really dont know why it makes me laugh but i cant hold it in when i watch.

Hey Greg, I'm a proud owner of Big Willie Style, and one of the 12 people who bought Willenium - Will 2K. I also own all the seasons of the Fresh Prince that are out on DVD. No hard feelings, the article we wrote on parlayer.com was just meant to be really sarcastic.

dude, you'll get to play against will smith when you play san antonio next year. did i say will smith...i meant robert horry. that dude looks exactly like will smith.

Sorry about the draft Greg. Barring a blockbuster trade you are going to spend the next few years in the Pacific Northwest and hardly anyone will see you play. Hope you don't fade away from the Basketball spotlight like Mike Bibby, Ray Allen, Zach Randolph, Jason Richardson, Rashard Lewis, Baron Davis, and the many other players that are up in that west coast region. Unless you plan on making a miracle run like the Warriors in the next few years, national viewers of the NBA won't be seeing much more from the Blazers or the Sonics.

Trust me, ESPN and ABC will find a way to get Greg and Kevin Durant on TV. Everyone wants to see these 2.

Pretty sure Baron Davis did a sweet job putting pacific northwest basketball back on the map. They should just dump the whole eastern conference and make it a minor league system for the West. All the talent is there.

Baron did just that during the postseason; we'll see if he can stay healthy enough next season to keep the momentum and interest going out West...

Highly doubtful Jack, sounds like you don't really know what you are talking about. Take a look at the Warriors starting 5, and ask yourself where they all came from....the East. Jackson and Harrington just came over mid-season, and Baron not long before them. I'm sure Oden and Durant will do a good job of bringing more attention out West, but it will be awhile before their games take the place of Detroit vs. Miami, or Dallas vs. Phoenix.

O ya, I wish this East Coast types would watch this guy named Kobe, hes really good, but no one knows who he is because he plays on the West Coast.
      • Sumit
Who? I tried wikipedia'ing it with no luck.

  • please all that east coast biased crap is just that crap! Oden is going to be a star in portland and will be seen bye everyone! did people see malone and stockton, or magic and kareem, or clyde drexler, or shaq and kobe. theres just a few examples of all hall of famers or future hall of famers. Who in there right mind would want to go to the knicks or celtics, those teams are a mess to put it nicely. Portland has a ton of young talent now and they will probaly win close to 50 games next year with greg.

Amen. The East Coast needs to get over itself. "If we're not watching them play, no one is"
