With the fantasy football regular season coming to a close, its time to look to the future. Whether you have a playoff spot locked in, or have only won one game this season, dynasty leagues never sleep and each owner should constantly be looking to improve their teams all year long. Here are a few names to target for the future.
Nick Foles- It should be pretty obvious that Foles is a guy you need to stash on your roster if he is available. Mike Vick continues to struggle, and its just a matter of time before he is either benched, or sent packing out of Philadelphia. Foles looked great in the preseason and in relief week 10 after Vick got hurt. SOme were over critical of some of Foles throws, but a player that had all of 5 min to prepare for a game, he did quite well. Its easy to be optimistic that he could be a solid QB2 for fantasy if given the starting job full time.
Brock Oswieler- Peyton Manning isn’t getting any younger, and he isn’t the poster ch...

QuarterbacksTags: Dallas CowboysJeremy MaclinNick FolesPhiladelphia EaglesI think Nick Foles is going to be the Eagles starting quarterback this Sunday against the Washington Redskins because Michael Vick didn’t seem very steady after the game as he walked out of Lincoln Financial Field. He sustained a concussion and in all likelihood...
Fantasy Footballers reliving the glory days of championships won during the 2010 season are waking up to a difficult reality this week – Michael Vick of the Philadelphia Eagles may have played his last fantasy relevant game this season and perhaps ever. In the world of fake football he had a good run, but in that same world we as owners can't afford to become nostalgic and...
The Nick Foles era begins in Philly, but this time it’s real and if it doesn’t, Andy Reid’s chances of being fired will go up. Philadelphia Eagles Foles stepped into the Dallas Cowboys game to save the day for both the Eagles and head coach Andy Reid in the process. All it took was for Michael Vick to suffer a concussion in the first half to jettison Foles into the fold....
The Nick Foles era is starting earlier than expected.
Michael Vick went down mid-way through the second quarter after taking a blow to his head. After being assessed on the sideline for an eye and head injury, he’s been ruled out for the rest of the game with a concussion. Vick was scrambling on the play when defensive tackle Jay Ratliff landed on the Eagles’ quarterback awkwardly...
NewsYou got a glimpse of the Eagles future with Nick Foles taking over for an injured Michael Vick. The Birds offense started off the game playing well, but in the end they lost to the Cowboys 38-23. The Eagles surrendered 21 points via a punt return, interception return and a fumble recovery for scores.
It wasn’t [...](Read more...)
Eagles coach Andy Reid said Monday that quarterback Michael Vick has a "pretty significant" concussion, making it likely that rookie Nick Foles will get his first pro start Sunday against the Washington Redskins. Foles, the Eagles' third-round pick out of the University of Arizona, replaced Vick early in the second quarter of Sunday's 38-23 loss to the Dallas...
Meet the new turnover machine
So with nominal starting QB Michael Vick concussed, the smattering of people who still admit to watching the Eagles get to see rookie QB Nick Foles, the first rookie QB to throw a touchdown for the team since, well, I'd look it up but who gives a flying fart at a rolling doughnut... um, right, let's end this sentence... play the Redskins next...
When Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick went down with a concussion this past Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys I’m sure there was a grouping of Redskins fans who let out a cheer. After all, in spite of his dismal play this season (serves him right for declaring the Eagles a dynasty before they had won anything) Vick is still one of those players who can take over a game...
Michael Vick benching rumors swilled for weeks. While Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid could not pull the plug on Vick, for fear of losing his own job, the decision was made for him Sunday. Vick was knocked out of the Eagles game against the Dallas Cowboys after suffering a concussion.
Prior to the concussion Vick had been a turn over machine for the Eagles who have now lost...
Want to start out by apologizing for not writing a sleeper article the last 2 weeks. Conditions have prevented me from being able to do so, but now I’m back.
We are at a crucial part of the fantasy football season, and whether you are a playoff lock, trying to make a playoff push or playing spoiler it is your duty to try and win. On the final bye week we see the Vikings, Giants...
A lot to talk about in the Eagles loss to the Dallas Cowboys, so let's just dive right in.Here are five things we learned.Eagles Fans Will No Longer Have to Wonder "What If" When it Comes to Nick FolesPhiladelphia fans in general have no qualms about jumping ship when it comes to a player or coach who is under-performing. Even players and coaches with a history of winning...
It's gonna take a miracle now for the Eagles to get to the post-season in 2012.. and certainly nothing short of a 7-0 run.
But miracles do happen. So I won't give my surrender speech just yet...
Mike Vick got knocked out of the game with double vision and concussion symptoms. Nick Foles entered the game as a rookie QB. "Shaggy" almost pulled it off...but...
