Waiting For Next Year:
Congrats to G-Money who was randomly selected as the winner of yesterday’s drawing!
Last day of the giveaways! Everyone here at WFNY hopes you have a great holiday spent with family and friends. Be safe.
As always, here is the way the contest works-
Every weekday from now until Christmas Eve, we will give away a Cleveland themed prize. To enter, you need only to respond in the comment section in the appropriate manner. The winner each day will be randomly selected and notified by email. (Which means you better make sure that the email address you use to comment here is a legit one.) I cannot guarantee delivery by Christmas. Some of the prizes (like tickets) haven’t even been printed and mailed to us yet. We’ll do our best with the things we have in hand though. Only one member of a household can enter each day, and only one winner per household during the length of this contest. Just spreading the love around.
Let’s finish with a bang. Today we’re giving the winner a...

Wallace says it was his decision to call for a running play at the end of the first half instead of spiking the ball.
It was only a few weeks ago when it seemed inevitable that Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis would not be with the team next season.
This came after a season marred by distractions, ranging from nagging injuries to a host of bizarre off-field incidents that soured Hillis’ relationship with the Cleveland media and the team’s fans.

The Browns have placed safety T.J. Ward on injured reserve with a sprained right foot.
Ward started eight games before getting hurt on Nov. 6 against Houston. The team had been hopeful he would be able to return, but Ward's foot never got well enough for him to be activated. The hard-hitting Ward, a second-round draft picks last season, made 38 tackles and forced one fumble...
At times, the off-field drama surrounding the franchise overshadowed any positive aspects of the Browns’ on-field performance. Despite the fact that the season itself reflected the fact that Browns president Mike Holmgren and general manager Tom Heckert made several quality off season moves to upgrade the team and the defense played much better than expected throughout the season...
The Cleveland Browns have placed safety T.J. Ward on injured reserve with a sprained right foot.
Ward was injured in a game against Houston on Nov. 6 and had spent the subsequent weeks trying to get back on the field.
Coach Pat Shurmer said Ward will not require surgery as of now.
Last year's second-round pick out of Oregon had 38 tackles and one forced fumble on the campaign...
10 Browns wins in 10 days: Suffering Browns fans deserve a holiday treat so we present 10 Browns wins in 10 days. Part 9 looks back at a 1989 victory in Houston that sent the Browns to the playoffs. Scoring the winning TD was Kevin Mack, who missed much of the season because of a drug problem.
If the Browns were aiming for Southern Cal quarterback Matt Barkley, they'll have to look elsewhere near the top of the NFL Draft.
Colt McCoy will remain in Cleveland when the Browns take on the Baltimore Ravens this Saturday, but Browns coach Pat Shurmur said the second-year quarterback is trying hard to return to the field before the end of the season.
James Harrison returned to practice on Wednesday for the Steelers. With the way Pittsburgh played on the road in San Francisco Monday night, they need all the help they can get. Harrison spoke to reporters after practice and had a number of quick responses, most of which indicate he now has an “oh well” attitude when the league reprimands him. He did, however, say he thinks the...
If the Rams get the No. 1 pick in the draft, they most likely will keep Bradford ... and the price tag to get him through a trade will be steep.
