Draft
1. Miami Dolphins - DT Glenn Dorsey, LSU Bill Parcells is going to put his stamp on the Dolphins, and that means a 3-4 defense. Dorsey is a dominating presence, and I believe he is very capable of playing Nose Tackle. DT is not a flashy pick for number 1 overall, but it is the right choice here. Video>> 2. St. Louis Rams - OT, Jake Long, Michigan Long is the premier franchise tackle in this draft. Orlando Pace's Hall of Fame career is nearing an end. St. Louis's offensive line was in shambles last year, and needs to be fixed. 3. Atlanta Falcons - QB Matt Ryan, Boston College Michael Vick is currently in prison for dog fighting. Neither Joey Harrington nor Byron Leftwich could cut it last year for Atlanta. Matt Ryan is arguably the best QB in the draft, and will give the Falcons a new direction. Video>> 4. Oakland Raiders.....

Liked the Eagles pick. If they pick a DE, this is the guy I hope they go for. Would love Talib, but Andy's track record say OL/DL.

I find it hard to believe that Felix Jones does not make it in the first round.

Other than that, its a pretty solid guess.

I think Mr. Jones has got his eye on Felix, so he won't last long unless someone else jumps on him.

Why would the Cowboys waste a first round pick on a RB? They already have MB3, who is going to be a monster next year now that he is FINALLY the starter in Dallas. I think they need to address some other areas before selecting a RB.

Terry Glenns future is uncertain at this point, and TO is not only getting older, but is also in the last year of his contract, so WR would be a viable option. I think DeSean Jackson would be a perfect fit for them.

On the defensive side of the ball, their secondary is very suspect. They could possibly try to upgrade Henry or Hamlin.

Julius Jones is probably history, that's why. Plus, we need a kick returner. I do agree that we will go for a cornerback. We do have two picks in the first round.

The Eagles need playmakers so they should get desean jackson in the first round then steve slaton

They will never draft a WR in the first round especially with the obvious need in the d-back field.

They wouldn't? That's one of their biggest needs. Not sure I would count on Chad or Fitz coming there and you guys need a receiver, bad.

I won't deny it, however I'm trying to think like andy, heckert, and banner. I'm betting on D-line, O-line, and d-back. Let's say Runyan retires (a possibility) that now leaves them stranded with Justice or Herremans at RT. No depth or not enough depth for them at that position. Kearse, Howard, and McDougle are all gone this year. With Gocong able to play that role, thomas, and abriamari left...no depth. These guys are in to depth in the trenches and build players at skill positions. The last high draft for WR was Reggie Brown in the 2nd round. This year there are too many juniors declaring eligibility and it makes for a deeper draft at WR, RB, and CB. This year will be an interesting draft.

So why would you draft a first round RB when you already have Brian Westbrook?

      Placard_complete_small
Agreed.......they have Burkhalter at backup anyway. They need to go O-Line or maybe even safety to back up Dawkins, huh?

I can't see getting a RB. Burkhalter is a reasonably good backup. I bet they go for Jackson or maybe even Malcolm Kelly if he lasts that long.

Nice job, but I think Desean Jackson from Cal will go way higher, because is multi purpose player, he can contribute to special teams as well as be a WR.

    we all love mock drafts!

but the pats wont pick a DE, ill put my $$ on a CB, samuel is gone after the SB and all he wants is money

      Placard_complete_small
Haha.....that's all any of them want.

I agree they need to upgrade at CB especially with Samuels gone
  • PatsFan25
man i hope samuels doesn't go...but anyways if i were Miami I wouldn't stay with Green.....I would deff get a QB that could make some damn plays
