2011 Packers Yearbook: Most Frustrating Player (Be sure to place your vote in the poll below.) Adam: Tramon Williams. It was very frustrating watching Williams go from a top-tier CB to a complete mess. Hopefully a better pass rush and a fully-healed shoulder gets him back on track in 2012. Al: So many candidates… I’ll stay away from the obvious choice (cough… Finley… cough…) and go with Charlie Peprah. The Packers won a Super Bowl with Charlie Peprah at safety. Last season, he was a disaster. Made mistake after mistake and gave up one big play after another. Obviously, without Nick Collins around for guidance, he was just lost back there… Chad: Jermichael Finley, hands down. (Pun intended.) This year we saw the drops bug move from James Jones to Finley, and boy was it frustrating to watch. Finley is a dominant player and such a threat to defenses that seeing him consistently drop passes was gut-wrenching. Here’s hoping this problem goes away with a fresh year and a fresh contract. ...

Aaron Rodgers Discount Double-Checks Four Rookies Into My Collection.

Not gonna lie, I love those Discount Double-Check commercials. All three of them. I think the Clay Matthews one might be my favorite, just because of how down Rodgers seems with the whole phenomenon and how nonchalant Matthews is when Rodgers questions him. Anyhoo, moving to cards, I picked up three Rodgers Rookies for about the price of a blaster after tax. I was fortunate enough...

In the NFL's 2,000-plus word statement on the heavy suspensions levied against the New Orleans organization, one section specifically mentioned a...

Raiders take Lee off Packers' hands

GREEN BAY, Wis. After four disappointing seasons in Green Bay, Pat Lee is no longer with the Packers. The 2008 second-round pick signed a one-year deal with the Oakland Raiders. There was no reason for Green Bay to keep Lee around any longer. He was unable to crack the top-four spots on the cornerback depth chart, sitting well below Sam Shields and Jarrett Bush for the nickel and...

Pro Day Tour: Thompson Is Story at Iowa St.

What makes Ted Thompson's day so interesting? It's more than just the player he was scouting on Tuesday at Iowa State — though that is incredibly interesting in itself. Plus, the Packers take another look at athletic North Carolina linebacker Zach Brown.

Packers Have Had Discussions With LB Manny Lawson

Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that the Green Bay Packers have had recent discussions with OLB Manny Lawson. Green Bay has an obvious need at the outside linebacker position and Lawson is better suited in a 3-4 defense which is evident from his poor sacks totals while in Cincinnati last season. Previous reports have mentioned that the Colts, Browns, Bengals...

Packers Replace Wells By Signing Saturday

Green Bay lost one Pro Bowl center but replaced him with five-time Pro Bowler Jeff Saturday. Saturday was the unsung hero of those Peyton Manning-led offenses and now he'll work with another line-of-scrimmage maestro in Aaron Rodgers.

Madden Cover Vote: Everyone Cheer for Rodgers!

Every year it's the same damn scenario. The Madden video game franchise barely let's old dogs die (last season to pass) before they start poking Vikings fans' dead, bloated bodies with a river stick, egging us on with how they want to screw the only good things on our team. Last year, they ran a contest to see which NFL player should be on the cover of their video game...

The New Orleans Saints aren't the only team that has been toinvestigated by the NFL for running a "bounty" program. The league also probed the Green Bay Packers in 2007 for a similar program, although the infractions were on a much smaller scale. The Times-Picayune of New Orleans reported that Green Bay players offered to pay the team's defensive linemen $500...

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Green Bay Packers have signed free agent veteran  center Jeff Saturday.  We don’t have the specifics of the contract a this time.
