. Tim Tebow is the player that every analyst seems to love to hate. They continually mention his poor mechanics and the 46.5 percent completion rate and 72.9 passer rating he posted last year. They also bring up the thrashing that the Broncos took at the hands of the eventual Super Bowl runner-up New England Patriots. What they fail to mention is the ride he took the Broncos on to qualify for the playoffs or the victory they had over the Steelers. Like the heroic game LeBron James had against the Pistons when he was with the Cavs en route to the NBA Finals, that part gets swept under the rug. The same goes for the 660 yards and six touchdowns he ran for last year. Even in limited use as a rookie he ran for 227 yards and six scores. . Sure, he got dealt to the Jets and he’ll start the year off playing behind Mark Sanchez. That should remain the case all year, but I wouldn’t put it past Rex Ryan to roll with Tebow and the Jets’ tough defense if it looks like that Tebow gives th...

Sgt. Tebow’s Lonely Jets Club Band print for sale

Tim Tebow is accustomed to The Beatles-like attention that he receives on a daily basis. Before now, that is where his similarity to Lennon, McCartney and the gang ended, but eBay seller chicbiz has changed that. This unique print has Timmy doing his thing with countless people who are in some way shape or form tied into his life. I must admit that a lot of the people on there...

Can Tim Tebow handle the New York media?

It is safe to say that the New York media market is one of the harshest, if not the harshest one in the country. After the New York Jets signed Tim Tebow and “Timsanity” took over the tri-state area, the NY Post dubbed the situation a “No-Ring Circus”. Wow, what a way to be clever, [...]

Tim Tebow hosting Jockey fashion show and we’re all invited (to watch on Facebook)

New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow will be hosting Jockey’s “Hot City Cool Down” fashion show in the Outdoor Pavilion at the Orlando Premium Outlets facility on Friday, June 22 at 3:00 p.m. with a second showing at 4:00. I imagine the presence of Tim Tebow at a mall in his home state will be [...]

Plaxico Burress doesn’t sound like he believes in Sanchez or Tebow

Getty Images Former New York Jets wide receiver Plaxico Burress was a guest on ESPN’s First Take on Thursday.  One of the subjects that was brought up had to do with what his thoughts are regarding both Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow. Burress was asked if Sanchez is the guy that can take the Jets to the Super Bowl. “They just paid him so I think they believe he is,” said Burress...

Fantasy football: should you draft Tim Tebow?

Tim Tebow is the player that every analyst seems to love to hate. They continually mention his poor mechanics and the 46.5 percent completion rate and 72.9 passer rating he posted last year. Holley Mangold: Guys with fetishes like me

Holley Mangold is one of the top female weightlifters in the world. The 5’8″ 350 lb 22-year-old is a member of the Team USA Olympic team and she’s set to compete at the Summer Games in London next month. Holley has become recognizable because she’s the sister of Jets center Nick Mangold (who sadly won’t be in London to watch her compete), and also because she seems to...

Schein 9: Jets' Sanchez has new attitude

Sanchez is acting like an SOB, and that's good. Harvin's acting like a child, and that's not. And Chad is Chad. There's a lot of NFL insanity, "Schein 9" style. 1) The Sparanos Something went noted talking to Mark Sanchez last week in Florham Park, N.J., at Jets mini-camp. He had an edge. He had an attitude. It was in a good way. It was totally different...

Am I the only one who missed CM Punk dissing Tim Tebow on Fallon’s show? (video)

Being presently devoid of any interest in professional wrestling whatsoever, my knowledge of that particular brand of entertainment ain’t what it used to be (but if you want to chat about The Junkyard Dog or Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, I’m game), I am aware that CM Punk is currently one of the biggest stars in [...]

Plaxico takes shot at Jets' Sanchez

Plaxico Burress took a few subtle pot-shots at the New York Jets as he continues to look for an NFL job and came off looking like getting a second chance meant nothing. Yesterday, Burress appeared on ESPN's "First Take"and was asked if he believes Mark Sanchez is the best choice of quarterback to lead the team to a Super Bowl. "They just paid him, so I think...

New York Jets lowering prices of upper-tier seats

The New York Jets announced today that the team will be adjusting the pricing of season-ticket seats in the last 13 rows of the 300-Level of MetLife Stadium for the 2012 season. Jets President Neil Giat said seven rows of four sections of sideline seats priced at $105 and $95 per game will fall to either $75 or $50 depending on the row.  Those in the end zone and corners will drop...

Jets Lower Prices On Some Seats In MetLife Stadium

The Jets have lowered some ticket prices in the upper bowl of MetLife Stadium less than three months before their season opener against Buffalo. Several sections of seats on the 300-level, which do not carry personal seat licenses for Jets games, have been reduced, the team announced. The per-game cost of tickets previously priced at $95 or $105 has dropped to $50 or 75, for select...

Jets CB Darrelle Revis Non-Committal For Training Camp

In case you haven't heard, New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis is not happy with the two years and $13.5 million that remains on the four-year, $46 million contract extension he signed at the tail end of the 2010 training camp. Though the Jets included a provision that allows them to add three years and $9 million to the contract if Revis holds out of training camp, the four...

That’s Some Good Bridge Burning, Plaxico

Now that Plaxico Burress has effectively gotten the snub from the Carolina Panthers, there’s a bit of doubt whether he’ll even have a team to play for in 2012. That’s fine by me, so long as Plax spends his time badmouthing members of his former team. Specifically, the two-headed multiracial monster of suck that is Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow. Burress appeared on “First Take”...

RB LaDainian Tomlinson Considered Continuing Career With Broncos

LaDainian Tomlinson acknowledged there was one team he considered playing for in 2012 and that was the Denver Broncos according to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune. It wasn’t the Chargers. And, no, not even a call from Bill Belichick would have kept LT in the NFL. “The only team I really gave a thought to was the Broncos, because of Peyton,” Tomlinson said Saturday, referring...
