Found September 26, 2012 on PPR Fantasy Football:
Maurice Jones-Drew has proven once again this season that he is good enough to carry a fantasy team.   A key to success in fantasy football has always been and will always be having good running back depth. That could never be more true than right now where depth at the running back position is going to be the key to having success in the 2012 season because even though we are just a few weeks into the season, the postion has been absolutely hammered with injuries. First it was Fred Jackson. Then Matt Forte, then C.J. Spiller, Reggie Bush and Beanie Wells (Big Surprise). A few pleasant surprises have come along like Alfred Morris and Mikel Leshoure. Leshoure carried the ball 26 times for 100 yards a week ago against the Tennessee Titans and has the look of a solid RB2 or at least a flex play in the coming weeks, except he is facing the Minnesota Vikings this week, which is far from an ideal matchup for a running back. To make things even worse at the running back position, a...

Maurice Jones-Drew doesn’t need training camp

Maurice Jones-Drew of the Jacksonville Jaguars, had a much publicized holdout in the off-season.  Everyone hyped it up and explained how he would have a ‘down’ year. Jones-Drew came into Week 1 with a performance that shows holding out of training camp really doesn’t matter anymore. Jones-Drew was demoted as the starter in Jacksonville against the Minnesota Vikings in...

Fantasy Football News: Projecting Ray Rice Thursday Performance

I love Ray Rice, as an athlete, while he may say a fantasy football win means nothing to him, it means everything to us. As Rice and the Baltimore Ravens prepare for their Thursday Night Football game against the Cleveland Browns, there is a great chance both the Ravens and your fantasy teams will come out happy While the issue with Ray Rice has always been a lack of carries, which...

Patriots fan requests police protection after her insensitive tweets inspire death threats.

It’s never a good idea to make idiots famous. In doing so you help them accomplish their goal of pushing their agenda to the highest degree and you give them the attention that they so do not deserve. With that, let us recap the story of New England Patriots’ fan Katie Moody. Please Click Here To Read This Story

NFL Week 3 thoughts & recap

What do you want me to write about the Monday Night game? The replacement refs finally cost a team a game. If you want this to end then just stop watching the NFL because if they don’t bring the regular refs back then I don’t know if I can watch this great game until they do.

Bengals-Jaguars Preview

Having Maurice Jones-Drew in the Jacksonville Jaguars' backfield has made life a little easier for Blaine Gabbert as he continues to experience growing pains in his second NFL season. Jones-Drew will try to help the Jaguars even their record Sunday when they host Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals. During the offseason, Jones-Drew sought to renegotiate his contract after...

Fantasy Football News: Frustrations with Baltimore Ravens play calling continue

How long will it take the Ravens to learn your best player should get the ball more than 25 times a game I don’t know why week after week, I keep expecting something to change with the Baltimore Ravens play-calling. It might be I have too much faith that Cam Cameron will gain some sense, or maybe it is my fantasy football side doing the complaining. In the end, the Ravens just...

NFL Week 4: Trendspotting the Jacksonville Jaguars

Maurice Jones-Drew, Blaine Gabbert and Cecil Shorts provided the Jaguars faithful with another last minute, come from behind, dramatic lead change. This time, the defense held on to a 22-17 win over Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts. This was a good win for team that desperately needed one, and should provide a jolt of confidence for this young team as they prepare to take on...

AJ’s Week 4 NFL Primer

Last week was brutal in the NFL. I went 5-11. Big time upsets, tons of late comebacks, and some major botched calls. Let’s just forget about week 3 and move on to week 4 and the real refs being back! Browns at Ravens The Ravens are up there with the Falcons and Texans as the best teams in the NFL. Ray Rice is running like the best he is and Flacco actually looks really good in...

Week 4 Fantasy Football Preview: Ravens vs Browns

Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore RavensThe new age Browns (Cleveland Browns) versus the old school Browns (Baltimore Ravens). It is known that the Ravens aren't happy about playing in the Thursday night game after playing in the Sunday night game. While they think they are not getting enough rest or time to game plan, the scheduling gods did help them out by putting them up against...

Week Four Picks: Thursday Night Edition

Week 4 Cleveland Browns (0-3) @ Baltimore Ravens (2-1) The first game this season with the regular officials could have been a better matchup, but this game does have a rivalry involved. The Ravens, of course, were the Cleveland Browns at one point in time so a natural division rivalry was born from that.  The Ravens are the class of the NFL and the Browns ...well, play...
