Whether the Jets are anything more than an amusing sideshow worthy of nothing more than back page covers remains to be seen.   Last season was certainly a strange one for Mark Sanchez, Rex Ryan and the rest of the dysfunctional Jets. After emerging to the AFC Championship match on back-to-back seasons, the Jets held an enormous amount of anticipation and were seen as more of a legitimate contender than their cross-town rivals.      Yet while the Giants found the strength and will to shock the world (again), the Jets faltered under intense pressure in a toxic clubhouse that fell apart. It ended up being another lost season for a team that bowed out with numerous questions unanswered.   As Gang Green prepares for an upcoming season, they are once ...

CORTLAND, N.Y. -- The heavens opened up on the second day of training camp for the Jets at SUNY Cortland, and not just because Tim Tebow was present. Blame it on the rain: Tebow runs shirtless in the rain

After a rough practice and being heckled by the New York Jets fans, Tim Tebow needed someone to blame for his ineptitude to throw the football. Milli Vanilli taught us to, “Blame it on the rain” or did they teach us not to lip sync? Regardless…after Jets practice Saturday the backup quarterback went for a [...]

Tebow amused by shirtless coverage

What does Tim Tebow think of all the media coverage his shirtless workout after a recent Jets practice? He answered all those questions.

Tim Tebow Took his Shirt Off at Jets Practice This Weekend and Almost Broke the Internet

Tim Tebow took his shirt off over the weekend after a Jets practice and almost broke the internet.  Basically the guy has put on like 10 pounds of muscle this off-season in preparation for playing special teams and doing even more running in the red zone as a backup QB.  Clearly this hasn't helped his passing game because the word is he can't even come close to his...

Jets’ Ferguson focuses on team, says there’s greatness

Getty Images There must be something new in the water over in Florham Park because it seems the New York Jets long held policy of “tell all” has turned into a policy of “tight lipped”. It used to take little effort from the media to get a member of the Jets organization, any member, to spill the details on locker room drama so you can imagine how surprised the guys on ...

Ryan wants Tebow to get the ball out quicker

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan provided a few thoughts on Tim Tebow what the Jets second-string quarterback needs to focus on during training camp.

The Jets try to Get Back that Winning Feeling

He may have lost a hundred pounds but he’s still the same Rex Perhaps no team comes into the 2012-13 season with more questions than the New York Jets.  After collapsing at the end of last season they knew they had many issues to address. They had fighting between the players, a quarterback that had taken a big step back in his third year, an offensive line that couldn’t...

5 Stories That People Need to Stop Talking About

DISCLAIMER: I realize the irony that I’m writing more about stories that don’t need to be written anymore about. I hope my points can act as the final nail in the coffin so we can bury these stories and never have to talk about them again. Please, continue. Call me a cynic, but lately I’ve been feeling like Will McAvoy from “The Newsroom”(fantastic show on HBO, must watch...
