The Jacksonville Jaguars were unable to improve on an 8-8 record and in Week 3 of the 2011 NFL season Luke McCown would be replaced with the 10th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, Blaine Gabbert. Now that the Jaguars have their future quarterback it is time to find stars to put around him. The surprise was a defensive unit that finished ranked 6th overall after finishing 28th the previous year. With the No. 7 pick in the 2012 NFL draft one has to think that if Oklahoma State Wide Receiver Justin Blackmon is still available the Jaguars would be insane not to select him. It’s not too far of a stretch to see them trade up and grab the top receiver if they want to put the star talent around Gabbert.
