With the #5 Pick in the first round, the Buccaneers should have Morris Claiborne available. Aqib Talib will be awaiting the outcome of his legal troubles and Ronde Barber has already stated he plans to retire if Raheem Morris was fired. Morris was fired, Ronde fractured his forearm, and the next head coach is sure to examine just how much Talib is really needed.
That leaves Claiborne as the smartest choice in rebuilding a unit which ranked 21st in the league against the pass. Claiborne has been compared to last year's 5th pick Patrick Peterson and has been viewed by many as a better pure corner though he lacks the overall production of Peterson in the return game. The pick is a no brainer for the Bucs and is a dire needed at a position with more questions than answers.
