New England Patriots
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The New England Patriots traveled to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers Friday night. This being the third preseason game for the Patriots, the starters played into the third quarter. The results however were less than encouraging for offense. The Buccaneers' defense represented a good challenge for the Patriots' offense.Patriots’ offensive line struggled early and often, as Tom Brady was never able to get into a rhythm in the first half.Tom Brady finished 13-of-20 for 127 yards with one touchdown and one interception.New England's defense played better than the score indicates. Starting linebacker corps of Jerod Mayo, Brandon Spikes, and Dont'a Hightower stuffed the run with ease, consistently forcing the Tampa Bay offense into 3rd and long situations. For the most part the Patriots' secondary responded well. Chandler Jones recorded a sack, early in the third quarter. Jones continues to impress and is locked in as the starting right defense end.As bad as the first...

Many fantasy football experts will try to tell you to not look to far in the future when it comes to scheduling, as too many factors can change throughout the season. However, analyzing the all important playoff weeks (14-16) should at least be a piece to the puzzle of your draft prep. There is nothing worse than having your workhorses carry you to the postseason only to fall flat...
NFL star Quaterback Tom Brady traded in his football gear for an array of fitted lavish tuxedos, and a fierce looking dog I wouldn’t mess with for his current feature in VMan Magazine. Tom covers the Mag’s Fall issue entitled “Americas Alpha Dog”, and talks life after football and more with fashion designer Tom Ford, Niceeee. Check it out,and read full interview at Vman....
Just when you thought that you had seen it all in terms of Tom Brady photo shoots, this one from VMan magazine came to life.
Brady got to grace the cover of their Fall issue which features Tom Terrific and a very angry dog:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers weren’t to kind to Tom Brady and his New England Patriots last night. The Tampa Bay defense pressured Brady and sacked him 2 times, they held Brady to just 13 completions of his 20 attempts and intercepted the great Brady once. The Buccaneers looked pretty good against the Patriots in this game, they went on to get the 30-28 victory over the Patriots and...
Somebody brought it up earlier: this game remindeda lot of the Detroit debacle last year when the Patriots stunk bo.st/pJFbYN

Yup, check out the carnage above. Does this sound familiar?
On offense, the Patriots just continuously shot themselves in the foot. First drive had a penalty and a sack. On the second, there were no negative...
The general consensus is that preseason football games are meaningless. After all, a win or a loss in the preseason is worth zilch once the regular season rolls around.
But Friday night's game needs to be treated as a big deal for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Because the Bucs square off against the New England Patriots and they have something to prove to them and the...
8 a.m. ET: Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski were just two of the many Patriots starters to sit out of the team's second preseason game against the Eagles on Monday. But the move wasn't without good reason. Bill Belichick thought the move be best suited for his starters especially, as the Patriots were set to travel to Tampa Bay for a showdown with the Buccanneers just four days...
TAMPA -- For two days this week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practiced alongside the New England Patriots and savored the chance to learn from the three-time Super Bowl champions and future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady.
But Friday night, the Bucs surprised just about everybody in Raymond James Stadium -- maybe even themselves -- by teaching the Patriots a thing or two.
During an appearance on the NFL Network’s NFL AM show former Redskins running back Clintson Portis said that he wanted to prove that he could still play the game of football before he decided to walk away.
“I think I realized, when I first left, that I was ready to walk away,” Portis said of his decision to hang up his cleats. “I think the desire to play again was just...
Injuries among starters was the primary storyline heading into Saturday night's game between the Dallas Cowboys and the St. Louis Rams.Quarterback Tony Romo entered the game without receivers Miles Austin and Dez Bryant, or tight end Jason Witten. The lack of proven talent on the field didn't stop Romo from delivering perfectly thrown passes and destroying the Rams' first...
Tampa Bay's success against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots was tempered by an injury to one of the Buccaneers' best players.
Two-time Pro Bowl guard Davin Joseph was carted off the field during Friday night's 30-28 preseason victory with what appeared to be a serious right knee injury, although coach Greg Schiano said the extent of the damage will not be known...
The New England Patriots have plenty of work to do with their offense before they show they can contend for another Super Bowl berth.
Chances are they'll do it.
With just one of their four exhibition games remaining, the Patriots (No. 2 in the AP Pro32) haven't moved the ball consistently while shifting players around in the offensive line and dividing playing time among...
There is no argument that the three safest picks at the quarterback position are Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, and Drew Brees. Rodgers is the best fantasy quarterback on the market, while Brady and Brees aren't a bad consolation prize. However, many wait until later rounds in the draft to select a quarterback and for good reason. Rodgers, Brady, Brees, and maybe Cam...
