The Rams are coming off a weak two win 2011 season, but that was then.  Now the Rams have Coach Jeff Fisher and a new hope for the future.  While the schedule is still a hard one, it's not as hard as the 2011 schedule.  Rams fans have a lot to look forward to this season, and it promises to be a good one.

Week 1

The St. Louis Rams begin away in Detroit against the Lions. The Lions are one of the easiest opponents the Rams have this year. The Rams normally don't win their first game of the season so this one is iffy. It'll probably be a close win but I give this one to the Rams.

Week 2

The Rams have had several close games against the Redskins in recent history. With a stronger defense and a healthy Sam Bradford, this should be an easy win for the Rams. The Rams have more at steak in the game due to the draft trade, and the worse the Redskins do the better for the Rams in 2013. The Redskins will also most likely be playing with an inexperienced RG3.

Week 3

The Rams had several crushing games against the Chicago Bears, and it hasn't been pretty. The Bears have the home team advantage, which will make winning even more of a stretch. I don't expect the Rams to win this one, but anything is possible. Sadly Mike Martz has just retired, so Fisher and Martz won't have the chance to reunite on the field again.

Week 4

While most Rams fans hate the 49ers, this is the division rival I hate the most. It won't be an easy win, but if the Rams can keep it together and avoid fumbles and penalties, they should be able to win. I expect this to be another close and exciting game.

Week 5

Another divisional game. The Cardinals have had some surprising wins against the Rams, but the Rams have a better roster. This is a tough one to call, but I give the advantage to the Rams. This is the Sunday night football game of the week, and the Rams only prime time game. The Rams have had enough of being humiliated during prime time and will no doubt bring their A game.

Week 6

Fisher will show these guys why he picked the Rams over them. This should be a winner for the Rams. However, it should be a low scoring, boring game.

Week 7

The Packers are still a great team, and will be tough to beat. While it shouldn't be as brutal as the game last year, the Packers will win again. This will be one of the hardest games of the season.

Week 8

I have to say that the Rams will win this one or I'll end up in lots of hot water! In all seriousness I see the Rams winning this one. The Patriots will be coming off a super bowl loss, and stats are not in favor of super bowl losing teams the following year. The Patriots still have some star players, and it won't be an easy win. However, this is the Rams game to win.

Second Half

Given skill, teamwork, and a team that won't have as many fumbles or penalties the Rams should enter the second part of the regular season with five or six wins. The Rams have no prime time games in the second half of the season, but the Rams only won two games in 2011. You have to win games to get to play during those coveted prime time slots.

Week 10

The Rams finally play their much hated division rival. This is another tough game to call. The 49ers have been had many wins, but the Rams will be coming off their bye week. The Rams almost beat the 49ers in the final game of the 2011 season, losing in a heart breaker. I give the Rams a slight advantage to win, but it should still go either way.

Week 11

The Jets haven't been as good as they used to be. The Rams will be able to use the home field advantage to pull out a win, but it won't be a big win.  The Jets former offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer knows the Jets well and will have the Rams fully ready for this game.

Week 12

Will the Rams beat the Cardinals again? It can be done but since the Rams didn't even win a single divisional game last year, the statistics are not in favor of a sweep. Of coarse, the Rams have new coaches and new players on board. I give the Rams a slight edge in this one but am not holding my breath for them to win.

'Week 13

The 49ers again. Again this will be close to call, especially before the season starts. I don't see the Rams beating the 49ers twice, even though it can happen. My prediction is that the loser of the first meeting will most likely win this one.

Week 14

This would probably be an easy win if it was in St. Louis, but it's going to be in New Jersey. Chances are that the turf will be covered with snow, something the Rams have little experience with in their dome. The Rams have a chance to win this game depending on the conditions on the field.

Week 15

The Vikings have an inconsistent defense while the Rams only made their defense greater with the addition of Michael Brockers. The Rams also have the home field advantage in the game. This may end up to be a high scoring game for the Rams. As long as the Rams don't get overconfident or underestimate the Vikings, they will win.

Week 16

The Rams weren't able to beat the Bucs last year, and this time the Buccaneers have the home field advantage. This time it should still be a close game, but not as close as the game last year. The Rams do have a chance to win this game, and they may even do it. The Buccaneers had a great free agency run and picked up some key players. It won't go into overtime again, but the Buccs will likely win again.

Week 17

The Rams haven't forgotten about that final game in 2010, and they want payback. This won't be an easy game, but the Rams will be tough to beat. This game will not be as low scoring as the game two years ago, but it won't be a high scoring game. This time the game is at Seattle and revenge will be a dish served cold.

The Rams should be able to win five or six more games giving them a playoff spot. How far will the Rams go in the playoffs? They could go all the way. The number 13 has been very lucky to the Rams, and in 2013 the Rams could win it all. It can seriously happen if the draft picks gel together. The Rams won a measly 3 games before their super bowl win in 2000, and the Rams were better then what their record showed last season. If the draft picks don't gel the Rams are unlikely to make it to the playoffs, but they should still win 6 or 7 games. I will be bold and say that the picks will gel well, and the Rams will win the super bowl this year.
