Found August 24, 2012 on The Sports Bank:
With the NFL regular season rapidly approaching, let’s take a look at the intriguing NFC East.  Featuring the reigning Super Bowl champions (Giants), the former “Dream Team” turned “dynasty in the making” (Eagles), the league’s most exciting rookie (Robert Griffin III), and America’s team (you know who that is), this division might just prove to be the wildest in the NFL.   Giants: Remember the 2008 team that started 11-1 after winning Super Bowl XLI?  This squad could be similar, with a confident defending champion facing a mild early schedule.  They addressed two big depth needs at RB and WR with their first two draft picks (David Wilson and Reuben Randle), while third-rounder CB Jayron Hosley has made some noise in the preseason.  Just ask Mark Sanchez. What we know for sure is that the defensive line will once again give offenses fits, with every major piece returning up front and Jason Pierre-Paul only improving.  The biggest question will be the offensive line—injuries and ag...

For the Redskins, is it 1937 all over again?

After five mostly lackluster seasons in the city of Boston, frustrated pro football club owner George Preston Marshall decided to move his fledgling team, the Redskins, to Washington D.C. Armed with determination and a multi-talented, over-achieving, first round, draft-pick quarterback, Marshall’s team opened their 1937 regular season with high hopes, and a surprising win at [...]

Since being selected with the #2 overall pick in this year’s draft by the Washington Redskins Robert Griffin III has been highly visible. We’ve seen him in Gatorade spots. Andrew Luck on the difference between how he and RG3 market themselves

Today at 4 p.m. EST, we’ll see a preseason matchup that pits the first two picks in the 2012 NFL draft against each other for the first time. Who has a better fantasy season in 2012, Robert Griffin III or Andrew Luck?

Who has a better fantasy season in 2012, Robert Griffin III or Andrew Luck? Rizzla: I believe RGIII is destined for a better rookie season from a fantasy standpoint as he will likely rush for a few hundred more yards than Luck, who has some wheels of his own. RGIII also has better weapons around him which will help lend a hand to his fantasy success in 2012. I have both pegged for...

I regret not going to see the RGIII Projection last night

Had I known Adidas and the city of Washington DC was really going to kill the 74 foot projection of rookie Redskins QB Robert Griffin III I’d have ventured down the street to see it. Sadly, I live on Pennsylvania Avenue and was still too lazy to go. But this looks tremendous!! As has been reported this was a way of welcoming RGIII to the city and his first home game and obviously...

Morris bids to share Redskins backfield with RGIII

Robert Griffin III and Alfred Morris are starting to look like a promising backfield combo for the Washington Redskins, one that might still be in place on opening day. Everyone expected Griffin to be there as the No. 2 overall pick. But Morris was sixth-round selection who was a good bet for the practice squad at the start of preseason. Not anymore. Stash the running back from...
