The Super Bowl Champion has been crowned and the 2011 season is officially in the books. From here on out, it's all about next season. So here's a premature (and tongue-in-cheek) look at how the NFC will play out in 2012:
NFC East
Eagles– Predicted record: 13-3. Front office slyly offers to pay Desean Jackson in gum; to which he responds: “Is that new Trident Layers?” Followed by a quick, “Heck No!” Without the dream team tag hanging over them and Jackson's me-first attitude gone, the Eagles hit their stride.
Cowboys – Predicted record: 8-8. America's Team will have two possible scenarios for 2012. Either they will start strong but fade down the stretch amid the pressure of the playoff push and Jason Garrett will be fired. Or, the 'Boys start the season 1-7 and with the media calling for Garrett's job, the team rallies and saves their head coach.
