The preseason schedule was released today for the 2012 NFL Season. The Jaguars will open up the preseason in Jacksonville as they host the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants, which would mark Tom Coughlin’s second game in Jacksonville as the head coach of the Giants (New York lost in Jacksonville on Monday Night Football in 2006). The Jaguars will also face two teams that they hosted last season, instead this year traveling to both Baltimore and New Orleans to play the Ravens and Saints. Jacksonville will then wrap up the preseason at home when they host the Atlanta Falcons, who they hosted in the second game of the preseason in 2011. This is a great preseason schedule for the Jaguars, as all four opponents were playoff teams in 2011. The times haven’t been released yet for these games, and the regular season schedule for 2012 will be released later this month.
