Per the Seattle Seahawks this afternoon. The team has announced they have agreed to terms with the following TEN rookie free agents:
Phil Bates (Ohio), London Durham (McNeese St), Rishaw Johnson (Cal), Jermain Kearse (Washington), Sean McGrath (Henderson St), Jon Opperud (Montana), DeShawn Shead (Portland St.), Monte Taylor (Cincinnatti), Lavasier Tuinei (Oregon) and Carson Wiggs (Purdue).
Always a fun time post-draft is to look at the UDFA's as they're called to see who the team wants to get a look at.
Remember this name from 2011 Seahawks fans. Doug Baldwin. He was on this list. A future Seahawks star could be in the ten previous names just mentioned.
Last year, out of 19 UDFA signees, Josh Portis, Jeron Johnson, Richardo Lockette, Ron Parker, and the afore mentioned Doug Baldwin all made the team.
