2011 Analysis: Pace might not rack up sacks and pressures, but he was a constant player for the Jets in the rotation, especially after the loss of Bryan Thomas for the season. Pace notched 4.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and one interception in addition to his 72 tackles. The Jets starting OLBs have never been playmakers under Ryan’s tenure and this year was no different. Pace did do a very good job of playing hard, and being a solid edge-setter for the Jets much of the season, but there were some games where he started to slip, like his game against the Chargers. At 31, the Jets can’t afford to keep him on the roster for his pay for much longer, but one more year might make sense.
2012 Outlook: The Jets are going to have to think about what Pace’s future with the team is, but the way i...

(Very) Preliminary Thoughts On New York Jets Off-Season
At this point of the NFL season, it is still very hard to project exactly what type of direction the eliminated New York Jets will go in during the off-season. There are too many variables at play.
In terms of players, it is easy to throw around names off of free agency lists and throw darts at the board to come up with draft picks but it will take a little more time for real options...
LaDainian Tomlinson Pins Jets’ Issues on Rift Between Receivers and Mark Sanchez
Wondering where some of the complaints in the New York Daily News article ripping Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez came from? Running back LaDainian Tomlinson, who has spent the past two seasons with the team, says look at the wide receivers.
“I think some things that happened in the locker room between obviously him and the receivers, I think that’s where this is coming from...
BGA: 2012 Salary Cap Update 1.0
Over the course of the offseason, I’ll be posting a series of articles analyzing statistics and data rather than game film. I’ll also be revisiting last year’s offseason articles to see whether the conclusions drawn were indicative of what was actually going to happen during the season and using that information to try and determine what 2011’s data tells us about what might...

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson says quarterback Mark Sanchez ''is our guy,'' but also wouldn't rule out the possibility of pursuing a veteran such as Peyton Manning if the Indianapolis Colts star became available.

LT says the Jets have "EAST COAST VS. WEST COAST Beef"
LaDainian Tomlinson sounded off on the rift between Santonio Holmes and Mark Sanchez on Showtime's "Inside the NFL," on Wednesday night. LT said that Sanchez (who is from California) and Holmes (who is from Florida) caused the biggest locker room rift he's ever seen. He also said Jets players called the feud the "East Coast vs. West Coast beef"

Jets Owner Says Holmes Will be Back, Doesn’t Rule Out Manning
New York Jets owner Woody Johnson made it clear today that wide receiver Santonio Holmes will be back for the 2012 season, despite the chaos he caused in the Jets locker room this season.

Well LT Won’t Be A Jet Next Season…
LT had some shocking/crazy/neverwouldhavethoughtof comments to say about the New York Jets locker room, Sanchez, Holmes, Rex, their style, pretty much anything that can bring him to negativity about the team, during a sit down with HBO’s “Inside the NFL”. He pretty much dissects the JETS and lets us know just how ****** up the team was this year. I Wonder how GM...

Jets Will Not Raise 2012 Ticket Prices
One good thing to come from the Jets' 8-8 season is owner Woody Johnson announcing Thursday the team would not raise ticket prices in 2012. The prices for Jets games has been a hot-button issue with fans since the team moved to MetLife Stadium in 2010 and began charging fans for personal seat licenses (PSLs) on top of the price of tickets. During a meeting with beat writers,...

Jets Still Grounded in Dysfunction Junction
There isn't much you can credit the Jets with achieving this season, but give them credit for finding a way to remain in the headlines even while the Giants are on the doorstep of the Super Bowl.
Those headlines might not be positive and they might make you wish everyone associated with the Jets was struck with a case of spontaneous paralysis of the vocal cords, but they say...
