I do not know about you, but the bye week is beginning to kill me and because of it I have to run around like a chicken with his head cut off to put together a team that can be competitive.
Weeks 8 and 9 seem to be the biggest in terms of bye weeks and it’s going to be a waiver wire frenzy from all teams around you to make sure they are set up for the coming weeks.
As the season begins to wind down you will really need to be on top of your game if you plan on staying competitive through the next couple of weeks.
Of course the best players are going to have been picked up by now but there will certainly be a few diamonds in the rough that will get your through the week.
Check out these guys owned in less than 25% of leagues that can keep you afloat while your superstars take a nap.
Carson Palmer (ARI): I Spoke about Palmer (9.8%) way back in week 1 and while I certainly didn’t hit on this prediction outside of that first week, he hasn’t been terrible either. He has had...

The newest edition to the New York Giants running back Peyton Hillis has emerged to lead the Giants to their first win. (1-6)Â But is he just a band aid for the team?
Hillis was cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this season but was later picked up by the Giants and has shown a good first start playing with the team. When the Giants finally broke away from their six game...
It was hard enough for Peyton Hillis to believe he went from being idle one week to the Giants’ starting running back and the main bell cow on football’s primetime stage the next. And he’s liable to get even more work on Sunday in Philadelphia, with Brandon Jacobs listed as doubtful for the NFC East matchup with the Eagles.

On Monday night’s football game between the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants, the NFL world saw the rebirth of a player who only a few years ago was considered a game-changer. That’s right, I’m talking about Peyton Hillis, former star running back and Madden NFL 2012 cover athlete.
In 2010, as a member of the Cleveland Browns, Hillis rushed for 1,177 yards and 11 touchdowns...
A few weeks ago neither John Conner or Peyton Hillis were on the New York Giants roster, but boy have they made a huge impact.  John Conner has been crushing defenders and plowing lanes for the last couple weeks.  He is even catching the ball out the backfield and giving Eli another option as a […]
Veteran running back Peyton Hillis wasn’t expecting to have so much work on his plate immediately after signing with the Giants.
The New York Giants quarterback praised running back Peyton Hillis and the defense while discussing the team’s triumph Monday night.
I feel like I say it every week. Insert week here in fantasy football – that was cray cray. Or crazy. Or nuts. Injuries, freak performances, bust performances – you name it. Every week brings another chance for fantasy football owners to choke on their own tears. Let’s just hope everytime that happens the tissues aren’t far enough away that they can’t make it to the next...
Well, the first time this year, the Giants actually are going to play with momentum on their side, which is pretty hard to believe, considering how horribly New York has looked at times. Nevertheless, the Boys in Blue are the ones entering this game on a winning streak, while the Eagles scored just three points against the Dallas Cowboys last week. Momentum favors the Empire State...
