With the 27th pick of the 2013 NFL Draft the Houston Texans select Wide Receiver DeAndre Hopkins out of Clemson. This is a great pick for the Texans.  They have established themselves as true contenders recently and made a statement to bolster their defense with the offseason acquisition of former Ravens Safety Ed Reed. Hopkins does a nice job setting up his routes to keep defenders off balance and attack the ball at its highest point.  If the ball is thrown in Hopkins area, he goes and gets it. He has fluid body control and the focus to be a reliable starting WR option in the NFL. As a true freshman in 2010, Hopkins was Clemson’s leading receiver with 52 receptions for 637 yards and four touchdowns. As a sophomore in 2011, he had 72 receptions for 978 yards and five touchdowns. In his junior season in 2012, he had 82 receptions for 1,405 yards with 18 ...
