Sheldon Richardson is a 6’2” 295 lbs defensive tackle that played at the University of Missouri. Richardson grew up in St. Louis Missouri and played football at Gateway High School, before going on to the College of the Sequoias a junior college in California. He originally planned on going to Missouri, but was ineligible for academic reasons. After two years at Sequoias he went to Missouri where he played one season before announcing he would enter the NFL draft. Richardson led the team with 75 tackles with 10 ½ for a loss, 4 sacks, seven QB hurries and 3 forced fumbles. He is projected to be a mid first round selection

Richardson is quick off the snap and good disbursement so he can handle light/quick or heavy slower lineman. His ability to adapt is a main reason he is projected to go in the first round. His leverage and vision allows him to evaluate the situation and either penetrate or break away and find a better lane to pursue.
He is strong, but needs to build more upper body strength. As mentioned he can adapt, but has difficulty disengaging if locked in. He needs to find a way to build a more stable and firm base. His durability and experience are also concerns as he only played one full season at the Sequoias before missing most of his sophomore season and then missed a game during his junior season for a violation of team rules. He is going to need to be more dedicated and in control to avoid any type of labels.

The Texans superstar has reportedly been cast in a movie with Kevin Costner tentatively titled 'Draft Day'.
This is my third annual final mock draft and for the final outcome I will try and simulate the possible outcomes with trades going up and down by teams. You will see some picks that have not been on any of my other mock drafts after reading some late news from each organization.
I have spent hundreds of hours looking at mock drafts, video of these players and listening to the experts...
Arian Foster spun his NFL domination to a bit part in CBS' hit show "Hawaii 5-0" earlier this year.
Now he's taken it a step further -- to the silver screen.

Houston Texans Need to Get Andre Johnson a Little Help
When you play the Houston Texans you know who is going to run the ball, throw the ball, and more often than not catch the ball. When it comes to the quarterback and running back that is how it should be—not for the wide receivers though.
Even the bling is bigger in Texas!
For years there has been little doubt...
The Houston Texans have taken defensive players in the first round of the last four drafts. Andre Johnson wouldn't mind seeing the team take a receiver this time.
The Texans have the 27th overall pick Thursday night after winning the AFC South. But Houston ranked 11th in pass offense (239.4 yards per game) and had only 46 receptions covering at least 20 yards, half of them by...
According to Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net, the Houston Texans will think about drafting USC wide receiver Robert Woods in the first round of tonight’s NFL draft.
Several people have told me the Houston Texans will consider USC receiver Robert Woods in the first round.
Woods is a wide receiver that has flown under the radar and could be a steal if he lands with the right...

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster will make his big-screen acting debut alongside Sean Combs and Kevin Costner in a movie called "Draft Day," according to entertainment Web site TheWrap.com.

It is finally here and the Houston Texans will be on the clock before we know it with the 27th overall pick. It will finally be time to see the work that has been put in by the organization over the off season traveling to see prospects and watching countless hours of film.
Will the Texans finally get their wide receiver that Andre Johnson has been asking for or will the Texans...
A month ago, I explained why I would only be doing a 7 round mock for the Texans and not for each team. It’s a multitude of reasons that you can read about in my original seven round mock for the Texans. But with the big event just two days away now, it’s time for me to call my shot on what I think the team will do in the 2013 NFL Draft. With eight picks and plenty of needs to...
In case the whole football thing doesn't work out for him it appears as if Houston Texans running back Arian Foster ha a fall back plan now--acting.
Apparently Foster is going to have a pretty big part in an upcoming Kevin Costner movie called Draft Day.
Foster has done a little bit of acting in the past in a Hawaii Five-O episode centered around the Pro Bowl. While...
When the NFL added the expansion Houston Texans to its league in 2002, it brought the number of teams up to an even 32. In the eleven drafts since then, there have been 351 first round selections. Why not an even 352? I think Bill Belichick has the answer to that question.
Anyway, something interesting to note about these 351 first round draft picks is that only 122 went on to reach...
Finally, the draft is upon us in a matter of hours. We have looked at tons of mock drafts, some changing all the time while some stay around the same picks in regards to team’s draft needs. In my second mock, I plan to look at the draft from a worst case scenario prospective. No draft ever goes exactly how you expect it to so I plan to do this mock based on who may or may not...
