There has been a lot of discussion about what the Philadelphia Eagles should do at the Quarterback position coming into this season. They have Mike Vick, Nick Foles, and now Matt Barkley who they got in the NFL Draft. They should choose Vick because he’s quick, has a good arm, and knows how to read defenses. One of the reasons I believe Vick will be the starter because he’s quick. Vick knows how to get the ball out very fast and he can use his legs to move out of the pocket and buy some time just like Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger does. He can also outrun a lot of players on the defense. Vick is arguably the fastest QB in the NFL still and he can still run if needed. I strongly believe if the Eagles choose to start Vick, this will be one of the reasons.Another reason that Vick could be the starter is because of his arm. Vick has a very good throwing arm. I remember watching him at VT when I was a kid and he had the greatest arm in all of College Football. He would always unleash bombs to his Wide Receivers at VT and he was arguably the best QB in Virginia Tech history for leading them to the National Championship game but that’s beside the point. He still can unleash hail mary’s to receivers such as Desean Jackson and Jermey Maclin because of their speed and quickness on the field. Vick can get back to where he was at VT but he has to work hard for it. He has to prove to new Head Coach Chip Kelly that he can lead this team in the regular season and make the playoffs for the first time in roughly 3 years. All in all, Mike Vick should probably get the starting job for QB for the Philadelphia Eagles. He is a skilled QB who knows what he is doing on the field and very experienced. I believe in Mike Vick and always have believed in him. I hope the coaches believe in Vick as well.
