Catch any of the Jets-Panthers game last night? Jets looked good right? This time is becoming more and more of a laughing stock with every passing week. Rex Ryan and Tony Sparano keep telling fans that things are fine, that they’re waiting until the regular season to “unleash” their offense. The media is quickly becoming very critical and so are fans. They’re sick of Tebow, sick of Sanchez and sick of the lack of scoring!

Just how bad have the Jets been on offense? Take a look at these stats from the first three pre-season games:

  • Mark Sanchez- 203 total passing yards, 2 interceptions
  • Tim Tebow- 151 total passing yards on 13-of-36 attempts, 2 interceptions
  • 611 yards of total offense
  • 5 turnovers
  • Most importantly…zero touchdowns!

Looks like it could be a long year for Rex and the boys. Jets fans are going nuts on Twitter…and rightfully so!

The New York Jets Need to Admit it, Tim Tebow is their Best Offensive Option

The New York Jets are the only team in the NFL not to score a touchdown this preseason. There are several reasons why and the Jets are full of excuses. It was the right tackles fault, new coordinator, injuries, you name it they have an excuse for it. The bottom line is this, the Jets do not have any talent on offense. Top three Jets issues on Offense...

Fireman Ed says Jets Players not Helping Sanchez out

I didn’t go to any preseason games and apparently neither did Fireman Ed.  According to his tweets this morning, he never goes and he never worries about the preseason results. Mark Sanchez played a pretty good game in my eyes and Ed believes that his teammates need to help him out.  That starts with the line protection and goes all the way to the receivers running the correct...

The Passion Of The Tebow, Or How The NFL Became A Reality Show

Jebus wants this mic to be liveMy friend and occasional FTT writer Tracer Bullet posted about the NFL Network's Tim Tebow documentary, with the pretty by-the-book reaction of how irritating this whole thing is. My reaction was as follows:Like all men having to wear hats at all times did for us, the Tebow Phenomenon is going to comfort future generations that they are much, much...

Tebow disappointed in offense, still upbeat

As the New York Jets try to find a solution to its offensive woes, backup quarterback Tim Tebow is confident Gang Green can sort out these issues in time for the regular season.

Tebow will not play in Jets' preseason finale

New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow will not play in the team's exhibition finale at the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday. ESPN.com reported Saturday that Jets coach Rex Ryan does not play starters in the final games of the preseason, meaning Mark Sanchez will not play, either. That leaves Greg McElroy and Matt Simms at quarterback against the Eagles. The Jets will...

Tebow gaining wisdom from 'everyone'

With Tim Tebow and company gearing up for Sunday night's preseason contest against the Carolina Panthers, the Jets' backup signal-caller is looking to provide a spark to a struggling offense.

Meteorologist Tebows during Hurricane Isaac

I don't know why or when "reporter getting pummeled in the middle of a hurricane" became a thing, but Jim Cantore is the Joe Montana of the craft. As he stands in the streets of New Orleans with Hurricane Isaac coming through, Cantore takes a moment to drop to one knee and say, "for whatever it's worth, I hope I'm making Tebow proud." Panthers hold off Jets in preseason win

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- Mark Sanchez looked pretty good for nearly three quarters. He just couldn't get the New York Jets into the end zone -- again. Tim Tebow had the play of the game, but also couldn't get that elusive preseason touchdown for the Jets. Tebow got the fans fired up with a dazzling 20-yard run in the fourth quarter, but threw an interception three...

QB Newton: Big Tebow fan, downplays reunion

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- While Cam Newton says he's a big Tim Tebow fan, he downplayed the reunion on Sunday night with his former college teammate. Newton said his focus this week isn't on renewing old friendships but rather on continuing to build momentum on offense when the Panthers (No. 20 in the AP Pro32) visit the New York Jets in what'll certainly be his last significant...

New York Jets: Offensive-Line Shuffle

Dear New York Jets, Please excuse Mark from football practice until you can provide pass protection for him so that he may live to see his 26th birthday. Signed, Sanchez’ mother To say that the Jets’ offensive line has played horribly would be an understatement. Abysmal seems appropriate as they have given up 12 sacks in two preseason games. RT Wayne Hunter has been benched...

New York Jets: Offense Takes Small Steps Forward

With the New York Jets' offense failing to score a touchdown through Week 1 of the preseason, the offense did make some strides last night.Their offensive line looked stronger and was able to protect Mark Sanchez for the most part. With Wayne Hunter going to the bench, newly promoted right tackle Austin Howard has answered critics by showing that he is quite capable of playing...

Every NFL Offensive Line Sucks

Looking at the NFC East right now, you could probably make a convincing argument that the weakest unit on all four teams in that division is the offensive line.  In New York, Eli Manning's blind side is in trouble with Will Beatty hurt and Mark Sanchez's front side is in jeopardy as the Jets look for a right tackle solution not named Wayne Hunter.  Have...

Daily Caller reports:  On Thursday night, the Republican convention schedule has a mystery hole just before Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Mitt Romney’s speeches. The space is scheduled for “remarks” but simply lists “To be Announced” where the name of the speaker should be. Among the “top 5” possibilities the article lists to fill the spot:  Colin Powell, Nancy Regan...

New York Jets: END ZONE ENVY

GAME RECAP:  If the game against the Carolina Panthers was truly the last dress rehearsal before the regular season, I’m not impressed with what will-be the finished product as the Jets went yet another game without a touchdown.  Granted, the Jets aren’t running the offense the way they say they will in the regular season, but the execution of the plays they are running is...

The Jets are in trouble with their anemic offense

The New York Jets have a major problem. They've played three preseason games, and they still haven't put the ball in the endzone. At this point, it's hard to imagine Tony Sparano feeling comfortable about his job security as the Jets prepare for their final preseason game against the Eagles. Last night's game against Carolina showed us a few things. First off...
