At first glance, the casual fan of pro football might look at a 15-1 regular season record and think there are few weaknesses on a team that lost just one game all year. A 15-1 record is as near to perfection as an NFL team can get. How many shortcomings could such a team have?
Most people are looking at the Green Bay Packers as the team to beat in 2011, and certainly with good merit. The Packers are the defending Super Bowl champions, running through this year’s schedule with a loss to underdog Kansas City as their only blemish. In every other instance they have come up big when they needed it most. In fact, their offensive prowess has allowed for a number of blowout victories in which they were barely tested at all.
But what about that one loss to the Chiefs on the road? Does it show us any vulnerabilities about this team that might come back to haunt them in the playoffs?
