You can never know what to expect with NFL free agency. On Thursday night, we saw why.

As you probably just read in the headline, the Arizona Cardinals have signed left tackle Levi Brown to a five-year deal only three days after cutting him. (Per Adam Schefter)

While exact terms of the deal have not been released yet, the new deal will undoubtedly be at a much lower salary than he originally had for 2012 (before he was cut) in order to be more cap-friendly. Coming into the offseason, Brown had one year left on his rookie contract and was due a total north of $12 million.
