Green Bay Packers
San Francisco 49ers
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Eight months after the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers were on course to meet for a trip to the 2011 NFC championship, the 49ers established themselves as one of the conference's elite teams by holding off a furious comeback for a 30-22 victory on Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field. Trailing 23-7, the Packers seized momentum in the first minute of the fourth quarter with Randall Cobb's 75-yard punt return for a touchdown, and Aaron Rodgers' two-point conversion pass made it 23-15. The Packers forced a three-and-out, taking over at their 25 with 8:59 remaining in the game. However, Rodgers, who threw 45 touchdowns against just six interceptions last season, didn't see linebacker NaVorro Bowman, whose interception and return set up San Francisco at Green Bay's 23. On the next play, Frank Gore rumbled around right end, bouncing off two defenders inside the 10-yard line for a touchdown that made it 30-15 with 8:41 to go. The Packers answer...

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- If Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers did lose a bet with the members of Boyz II Men, the NFL's Most Valuable Player isn't ready to make it public or pay up quite yet.
According to a report by TMZ, Rodgers was able to convince the legendary R&B group to sing the National Anthem before Green Bay's season-opening game against the San Francisco 49ers...
Aaron Rodgers must have really liked the Packers' chances on Sunday. The Green Bay Packers quarterback liked his team's chances so much, in fact, that he was willing to lay his dignity -- and not to mention his team pride -- on the line for a bet with one very popular musical group from the '90s. NFL.com points out that the quarterback supposedly had a bet with everyone...
The Packers’ Jordy Nelson and Aaron Rodgers like going deep on 3rd and short.
Because the Packers have the personnel and talent to do it. That’s the simple answer.
But it still seems to drive people nuts whenever Aaron Rodgers launches a pass downfield on 3rd and short. It doesn’t drive me nuts, and never will as long as Rodgers is the quarterback and the Packers receivers...
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers lost a bet to the R&B music group Boyz II Men.TMZ reports that the QB made a bet with the R&B group that if he lost to the San Fransisco 49ers, which he did lose to Sunday afternoon, that he would need to wear a 49ers jersey for an entire week. Rodgers would then need to take to his Twitter page and post a photo giving proof he did indeed...
TMZ is reporting that Aaron Rodgers is welching on his bet he made with Boyz II Men. Here is what TMZ reported.
Aaron Rodgers doesn’t seem to understand the way bets work — because even though he LOST a wager to Boyz II Men … he’s now trying to weasel his way out of paying up … by throwing TMZ under the bus.
We broke the story … the Green Bay Packers star agreed to a...
"So, uh, you wanna, like, grab a brew and then make out?"Yesterday, my best friend and bass player in my Nelson cover band, Danger Guerrero, brought us the terrific story of the bet between Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the classic 90s R&B group Boyz II Men. How DG didn’t ask me to photoshop Rodgers photobombing a Boyz II Men album cover, I’ll...
Aaron Rodgers is coming off arguably the best quarterbacking season in NFL history, but will the 49ers give him time to find his prolific targets? Packer Report's Bill Huber and Niners Digest's Craig Massei have been breaking down this game better than anyone.
At 3:25 central time the Green Bay Packers will kick off the 2012 NFL season against the San Francisco 49ers.
Some things to watch after the ball is put into play today include; Will the Green Bay Packer offense continue to put points on the board at the same rate they did last year?, Who will Aaron Rodgers throw the first touchdown pass to?, Will the first score be...
The Green Bay Packers coming from a division that have two of the top rushers of all-time with Walter Payton and Barry Sanders would give a hint to Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy that they need to run the ball more with Cedric Benson, but apparently they didn’t get the hint passing 76% of the [...]

When people think of the elite quarterbacks in the league, they think of names like Rodgers, Brady, Brees and Stafford. They see 5000 yard seasons and 40+ touchdowns leading explosive offensives with impressive arm strength and pinpoint accuracy. What often gets overlooked is how poor their own defenses are in the rankings. What do Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Matthew...
The last time the West coast branch of the Trigg family made it back to Lambeau Field was two years ago. Our second pilgrimage to the cathedral of football began yesterday with a visit to the Lambeau Atrium. We hit Curly's Pub for an early lunch and it turned out to have a special treat on the side. Our 11AM arrival and prime position near the window of the second-story...
