The world took to social media to share reactions about the San Francisco 49ers making quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo the richest player in the league.
As did Mr. Garoppolo himself. Here’s what Garoppolo said in a one-word Instagram post on Thursday.
A whole lot of money, a rich bank account and job security likely describe Garoppolo’s current mood. While playing for both New England and San Francisco this past season, Garoppolo earned a mere $674,355.
It is indeed a big day for Garoppolo and a 49ers team that went all-in to secure its franchise quarterback for years to come.
Perhaps, Garoppolo can pay back the $20 he apparently owes former teammate Julian Edelman.
