If you examine the box score from the 49ers’ 34-0 win over the Jets on Sunday, you would see that the Jets hung tough with the 49ers for much of the first half. So when examining the 34-0 outcome, one would have to come to one of the two conclusions. Either the 49ers just wore the Jets down or the Jets realized that they were the lesser team and quit. We have our opinion on the matter but we’d much rather bring you the opinion of someone who was actually on the field on Sunday. And that someone is 49ers cornerback Carlos Rogers. According to Rogers, the Jets quit. “It kinda seemed like, after a while they just, I know, looking at their defense, they didn’t want to be out there,” Rogers said on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Tuesday. “And after that it’s like, man, these guys don’t really want to play the game.
