As far as sports tattoos are concerned, there are some that are good (here and here), some that are not so good (here and here), and some that push the boundaries of good taste (here and most definitely here). This massive back tattoo mural celebrating the history of the San Francisco 49ers is borderline epic, not just because of its attention to detail and high quality, but because it managed to incorporate nearly every great player from San Fran’s past. Look closely and you’ll see Ronnie Lott, Joe Montana, coach Bill Walsh, Patrick Willis (who was shared the pic on his Twitter account), Steve Young, Jerry Rice and Dwight Clark. The owner of this tremendous piece of ink, @OH_Kai_, should go shirtless whenever it’s socially acceptable, so he can show off this outstanding tattoo. Something this beautiful and awe inspiring needs to be shared with the world. @OH_Kai_ wow! I can't say I have ever seen myself tatted on someone before. That's wild! San Francisco 49ers' Front Office a Secret Weapon In Team Success

The recent extension that Justin Smith signed with the San Francisco 49ers got me thinking about how good of a job that the 49ers’ front office is doing.  Thanks to spotrac.com, we can see that Smith was signed to a three year $16.7 million deal that includes a signing bonus of $6.5 million and $9.5 million guaranteed. San Francisco 49ers: Comparing Justin Smith and Bryant Young

The injury that Justin Smith suffered against New England Patriots last year put an end to a pretty good season. In true warrior like fashion, he came back and played in the playoffs. There are few San Francisco 49ers that are more respected than Justin Smith. His ability to command the respect of his peers is comparable to another great 49er defensive lineman. Bryant Young was a...

Patton Poised to Make a Big Impact on Defending NFC Champs

The San Francisco 49ers are poised to make another run at the Super Bowl – this time to bring home the title. After falling just short last season, losing 34-31 to the Baltimore Ravens, the goal this season is to win. The loss of their busiest wide receiver from 2012, Michael Crabtree, to an Achilles injury, could’ve been devastating to their chances. Mario Manningham and Kyle...
