According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com,free agent wide receiver Mario Manningham has signed a two-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers.

There was simply no way the Giants were going to retain Manningham. He was looking for a lot more money then they could offer. Even though I believe he didn’t get the kind of pay day he was looking for. Right now we don’t have the specific numbers of the contract yet.

As inconsistent as Manningham has been in his career, he’s a play maker that can make the crucial catch when the game is on the line.

In the end, Manningham could end up playing with Peyton Manning after starting out his career with his brother Eli, in New York.

Peyton Manning could be on the verge of choosing to play for the Tennessee Titans, according to multiple sources. Peyton Manning Must Earn The Right To Be A Starting QB

I'll be honest with you. I am pretty much done with all the fuss surrounding Peyton Manning at the moment. I understand that a lot of it is not his fault, and he is the biggest free agent name out there at the moment; but did I read that ESPN even had a helicopter following Manning's car earlier this week? What bothers me about all this frenzy surrounding Manning is the...

Could Peyton Manning change things for the Cleveland Browns

Chris Mortensen of ESPN has reported the San Francisco 49ers worked out Peyton Manning on Tuesday in North Carolina. The 49ers have been unmasked as the mystery team in the Peyton Manning sweepstakes. The question for the Cleveland Browns is do you go after Alex Smith if Peyton signs with the San Francisco 49ers? Alex Smith has a year of the training in a version of the west cost...

Mario Manningham Signs 2 Year Deal

Pro Football Talk is reporting that the 49ers and Mario Manningham have agreed on a 2 year deal. No word on the specifics of the deal. With the addition of Manningham, do the 49ers still have enough cap space to sign Peyton Manning and if so does the addition of Manningham help get Manning to SF. Either way after less than a week into free agency, the 49ers wide receiving core has...

Peyton Manning’s options have been become more clear over the last few days and we are getting closer to finding out who will have the future Hall of Famer under center. One team may surprise you! The possibilities reported early on included teams on either coast, in america’s heartland, and a one a mile high! I can imagine that 2/3′s of the league at least considered if it...

Free Agency Update for 3/16

With reports now coming in that Peyton Manning met with the 49ers, I think we can officially say that there is no possible way to predict what Manning is going to do next, much less where or how long he's planning on doing it.

Peyton Manning to the Denver Broncos: Denver’s draft priorities in 2012

Finally, Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning made his decision. It likely stemmed from his friendship with Hall of Fame QB and Denver Broncos executive John Elway. The Denver Broncos give Peyton Manning a great shot to win, but they must address some needs moving forward. The Tennessee Titans looked like the best fit for Peyton Manning. The blind side of their offensive...

What if Peyton Manning Lands in Miami?

You want to know how bad the Miami Dolphins need Peyton Manning?  Let's start with a little history lesson.  You know what they say about filling the shoes of a Hall of Famer -- you can't.  Ever since the retirement of Dan Marino in 2000, the Dolphins were left trying to find any quarterback who can start and make them a respectable offensive team.  When you had the likes...

Jaws says Peyton Manning was never in the Eagles' plan...so concentrate on the back seven on D...

I have to admit, it was exciting to play the "guess where Peyton will land?" game... but now it's over, and I'm glad for that. What a colossal distraction!I managed to catch up with Ron Jaworski ("Jaws"), and he affirmed my belief that the Peyton Maning signing by the Broncos has little or no effect upon the Eagles' 2012 plans... and according to Jaws...
