Even with linebacker James Harrison suspended from the vaunted Pittsburgh Steelers defense, the San Francisco 49ers offensive line has no reason to celebrate.
They might be a man down, too.
After surrendering a staggering 18 sacks in the past three games, the 49ers are facing the prospect of playing without left tackle Joe Staley for the Monday night matchup against the Steelers at Candlestick Park. The blindside blocker is still recovering from a concussion and hasn't participated in practice this week.
Alex Boone would make his first career start for the NFC West champions if Staley is not cleared to play.

James Harrison's Recklessness Shows He's More Concerned With Bad Boy Image Than Being Considered NFL Great
James Harrison is a good football player. But his persona reflects that of a professional wrestler, making him more and more of a nuisance nowadays. Joe Staley says he's fine
Left tackle Joe Staley said he's going through tests every day this week to check the status of his post-head injury symptoms. Week 15 IDP rankings
The most highlight-grabbing IDP news heading into Week 15 is probably the one-game suspension Pittsburgh linebacker/terror James Harrison received after a high hit left Cleveland quarterback Colt McCoy with a concussion, but the most substantive news for the IDP world is probably the expectation that Patrick Willis (hamstring) is expected to miss San Francisco's game against...
For the Sake of Football
The most talked-about event of this past week's NFL action was undoubtedly Tim Tebow's miraculous comeback against the Bears, erasing a 10-point deficit and aiding the broncos to a clutch victory. While I shamelessly admit that I was in total awe as I watched Tebow drive down the field and ultimately triumph over seemingly insurmountable odds, I did not see this as the sports...
